October 1, 2023 - Portland, OR - Join us for the official premier of Carl Diehl’s short film “Staring Into the Sun,” adapted from an essay by the same name by Joshua James Amberson. In addition to a screening of the film, featuring live musical accompaniment by Yaara Valey and a reading by Amberson, there will be four vision-related presentations/performances by Brianna Wheeler, Margaret Malone, M. Sabine Rear, and Yaara Valey. The event begins at 6:00 pm at Open Signal (2766 NE MLK JR Blvd). Free and all ages, made possible by generous support from RACC (Regional Arts & Culture Council).
